The Presentation took place on 18th October 2022 at the Clubhouse, in the Bruen Corner.
 
Deirdre and Adrian Long presented The John Long Tankards from the 1920s, 1930s & 1940s.
 
Also presented to the Club were The 2 Irons owned by John Long, circa 1930s.
 
And Jimmy Bruen’s No 2 wood Specially made for him by Jim Higgins (Club Maker). See more on Jimmy Bruen below.

The Bruen Corner

A special section of the Clubhouse is reserved for historical items and photos celebrating the The Club and Jimmy Bruen.

Visitors and members will find many interesting mementos of the renowned Golfer and this collection is of historic value to the Golf enthusiast.

At the presentation on 18th October 2022, Jimmy Bruen’s 2 Wood was presented by David Bruen to Muskerry Golf Club.

Lengthened for speed  & whip with reinforced Brass foot plate to withstand the huge Torque generated by The Jimmy Bruen Swing,

was presented by David Bruen to Muskerry Golf Club (Left).

J J Long’s Chipper presented  to Muskerry by Deirdre Long and Adrian Long, circa 1930s (Right).
